I will use this blog to report on matches and tours played in a league run on the Planet Cricket site.

The matches will be simmed using an Excel helper to run Owzat Games International Cricket quicker than rolling dice would allow.

The game is an excellent simulation of Test cricket and a couple of reviews can be found online.

Each manager on the Planet Cricket site will be in charge of selection for Squads and XIs for the one of the 9 existing Test nations in 1998/9, plus Bangladesh who I have given Test status 2 years early.

The blog will follow the journey of each team from 1998/9 up until as close to the present as time and interest allows, more players becoming available to each manager as they made their real life debuts.
