Bangladesh A v South Africans - 3 day match - at Sylhet - 1998/9 - Match Preview

Bangladesh A v South Africans - 3 day match - at Sylhet - 1998/9 - Match Preview Pitch: 67 - A damp wicket that is likely to cut up quickly and could offer the bowlers, especially the spinners, a lot of help late in the match. While the wicket stays sound it should play reasonably well, the batsmen are never likely to dominate for long and this could be a low scoring match. Day 1 Starting Pitch: 5 - Normal Wicket Day 1 Weather: 1 - Hot and Humid - (Swing favoured) Bangladesh A: Shahriar Hossain Mehrab Hossain Al Sahariar Akram Khan Sanwar Hossain OB Khaled Mahmud (c) RM Khaled Mashud (wk) Mushfiqur Rahman RFM Enamul Haque snr SLA Fahim Muntasir OB Hasibul Hossain RFM South Africans: G.Kirsten H.H.Gibbs J.H.Kallis RFM D.J.Cullinan B.M.McMillan RFM L.Klusener RFM M.V.Boucher (wk) P.L.Symcox OB S.M.Pollock RFM A.A.Donald RF M.Ntini RF Toss: South Africans, who elected to Bat first Pat Symcox is the lone South African spinner on a pitch expected to turn, is this a mistake by the coach?

Hadi's Fake Cricket Scores - Planet Cricket Test League 1998/9 and Onwards - Blog Introduction I will use this blog to report on matches and tours played in a league run on the Planet Cricket site. The matches will be simmed using an Excel helper to run Owzat Games International Cricket quicker than rolling dice would allow.
